A very popular wedding took place on Tuesday afternoon at the Wesley Church which was crowded to the doors by a very large number of friends and acquaintances. The contracting parties were Mr A B Magee, the youngest son of Mr and Mrs James Magee of Progress Junction, and Enid Agnes, youngest daughter of Mrs R Topp of Mace Street, Reefton. The Rev Pickering officiated. The bride who looked charming in white crepe-de-Chine, with overdress of lace tulle with wreath and veil and carried a bouquet of syringa and arum lillies, was given away by her brother Mr G Topp. The bridesmaids were Misses Dora Farrell and Mattie Healy, the former being smartly frocked in apricot crepe-de-Chine, and the latter in pink crepe-de-Chine with pearl trimmings.
Both wore black picture hats and carried lovely bouquets.
Misses Sylvia and Dulcie Jones were flower girls and looked very pretty in blue crepe-de-Chine. Mr Jack Lawry acted as best man.
The bridesmaids each received gold ruby brooches and the flower girls gold bangles. At the conclusion of the ceremony the wedding party were photographed at Sherlock's Studio
