Bruce Keddie my parents used to refer to the Wick st end of Hall st as the old rifle range. If that's where it is taken, and they are shooting towards the sea, in 1919 you would probably have a clear view through to the river??

Kevin Mead looks closer to the river than that. I once played football (soccer) on grounds off the river end of Cardwell St. I belive Hockey was played there also. I wonder if its somewhere around there.
