DescriptionThe Westland Shipping Company's steamer Tees (546 tons) meeting a sea while crossing the Greymouth Bar outward bound after being delayed in port for over a week by continuous heavy weather. Seve other vessels, the Kaimai, Kamona, Kahika, Kanna, Kaituna, Poolta and Kiwitea, were also bar-bound, but all managed to clear port within an hour after a recent moderation in the heavy westerly winds.
