The bins on the right hand sth side were Fred Fauths, he used a horse to take his coal to the bins Briandale started in 1927 ,Fauths in 1928. Padraic ORegan There you go you got two pictures. There were Armstrongs ,Kayes, Harrisons, Brady, Brady might of become Harrisons. Geoff Scalmer worked at the bottom of Kayes jig and told me when the lockie was coming for your coal he would signal for you to have it ready by blowing the whistle so many times for each mine. They all had a number. Geoff went working there for Bootes who restarted the Kayes mine after the explosion.

And I do believe we have dads rectangular watch that he was wearing when he went in no waterproof in those days

My dad Richard Armstrong and his dad Wilmot both drove the lockie, I've read a story where a bridge collapsed under them and they and the lockie went into the creek
