Yes and quarry haul as well with rock trailer, AEC mammoth major 30 mph flat out on a good day lots of wheels heaps of punctures ?they managed ok on the quarry haul with the B3 FD Euclids (Rolls Royce engines and 18 tons )

Just as well they were sourced from Europe /Great Britain, aye Kerry, otherwise the ol' 2 stroke GM's would have powered them.
Still good motors in whatever sourced motor was provided. Maybe a lot easier on the ears with the RR diesels.

Mercedes 1628 (6x2) OM422 non turbo v8 with ZF trans yes they put an oscillating axle under the old trailers done a fantastic job ?

Was me taxi once apona time from the solos to the works into a Terex to the quarry and short walk to the big flax bush by Doctor Foots old batch pull me surfboard out and enjoy a surf at the Bay or Nine Mile
