Event-- The Tongan Community presented Greymouth Mayor Tony Kokshoorn with a ‘tapa’ recently. Lavinia Langi, 43, and Lesili Langi, 15 were killed when their car went over a bank and rolled into a creek as they drove through Taylorville in mid-December 2013. The family made the large tapa cloth to say thank you for the support. “It’s very special. A lot of work went into it,” Mr Kokshoorn said. Map^[1]ContributorTony Kokshoorn
