Liz Reissmann: They should have restored it. They could have done fundraising. Loved that church. I lived in the house for a bit, and that was solid as well.

Brent David: I used to go to school with Peter Churcher, whose dad was the minister there in the early ’70s, and he lived in the house there. Rather ironic name…

Tony Froome: The church that wouldn’t come down after it was deemed unsafe.

Helen Brennan: This was one of two churches used for Strongman mine victims. The other was the Catholic Church in Chapel, both now gone. Historic buildings gone.

Elizabeth Mehrtens: The fountain is still there. I think it’s made of concrete, I suppose.
