We went to see him off today and as expected it was attended by hundreds. A very large funeral. The after match was held at the Ashley Hotel, which was packed. Family, Current and ex Kumara people and many other West Coasters attended along with many of the Rugby League Fraternity, ex NZ Police, and those who knew him when he was in the Hotel Trade.

Bully Williams was the Manager of the Kiwis who went to England and France in 1971 They won against GB two one in tests and were undefeated in France
Mocky was an incredible player on this tour
