Stephenson 2597 of 1886. Rebuilt later with a roomier cab and generally referred to as the Hungerford. A Greymouth loco with an interesting history. I imagine someone here will have the details.

My Great Grandfather, Robert Moore, who died in 1929, drove coal trains I understand. Would be great to see pics of that era so if you come across a picture of an Irishman with a fiery red beard driving a coal train well let me know lol.
