Yes, we used to go across it from Wallsend to the Taylorville shop.

I used to bike across that bridge every morning delivering the Argus on both sides of the river. In winter the zbarber made it a bit of a challenge.

I can see the 'White' house clearly in that picture. Directly above the biggest rock on the LHS is the Bells and our place next on the right. Good picture

We had to walk across it to go to the dental nurse at Taylorville school. We went from Dobson didn't like crossing that bridge at all.

That’s our house. The first house to the left of the left hand pylon. And Bells immediately to the left again. Also you can see the Miners Coop Store, which eventually became Warrens, clearly at the Taylorville end.

Phil Millar the process was to fire or swim a rope across. Then use that to bring heavier and heavier wires until there was enough to knot together and form the riggings that connect the towers to the bridge. Look up www.abseilaccess.co.nz

Great photo. I rode my bike across there - once! Just to see if could get across before the boys on the other side noticed and shook the bridge.
That was terrifying, and they knew it. Did create a long-term memory though.
