Wayne Nicholson Anyone have a copy of Moe Bowes book "Men of the Mines" that they would like to part with. TIA.

Lyn Moe Ian Speakman has it right, he worked there. I worked there at 16. They were great showers and you would go there after swimming in the sea . They were like the communal showers. When I worked there two old guys who were about to retire were Mick Tangey and Peter Mieklejohn, not sure of his spelling. I made concrete blocks for stoppings with Pud Haines and Kelvin Kyle.
