DescriptionAlan Joined the Greymouth Municipal band 22 years ago and was taught by the late Vic Baxter.
In 1976 he was appointed conductor of the Greymouth Municipal Band. Vic Baxter was my uncle, and his sister Josie was a strong follower of the Grey band until she died. My childhood memories of Christmas Day was all the food she prepared as the band always called after carolling on Christmas Eve and she prepared a feast to feed thousands

Jean McIntyre I forgot about her crocheted rugs, mum had them in her car also. I still have all the dolls clothes she knitted and made for my doll, they are beautiful and so much work to have made them.
