DescriptionI recently found McTaggarts old mine with my son in law, there was lots of old relics. The mine went from 1956 to 59 when the coal seams got too narrow. Worked by Bob ,Andy, Ken and Bill McTaggart.

Seems a very short life. Rugged country to cut into.

Roger O'Regan They were unlucky. Two mines above done well I think Braehead put 250 000 tons and not far the other way Tillers.
