By: Claire McArthur 19th Nov 2023 9:54PMMy Nan - Joan Tickle was born in Rewanui in 1925 and lived here until they returned to England in 1932 when my Great Grandmother became unwell. She and her sister Irene Tickle went to this school it's so nice to see it!

I have just joined this group and looking at this photo brings memories of my Mum and her siblings the Gloss family… I do query the date 1928 Mum was born 1912 which make her still at school aged 16 which is not correct as she was out working as a cleaner at Revington Hotel before that age …

Edna Worthington My mum, Jean Closs was born 1921 (I think she was christened Jane) perhaps that’s helps with the dating of the photo.
